Chair Message

Hello everyone, my name is Kate Maher and I have the privilege of being in the role of the ACNP ACT Chapter Chairperson.

The ACT has a rich history in the development of the role of the Nurse Practitioner and continues to be an epicentre for research and practice development. Currently we have a variety of NPs across the private and public health sectors and as a Chapter, we are committed to growing the profile of the role through working together. By empowering each other to reach professional goals and maintaining positive collegial relationships, we are able to keep the momentum moving forward for a strong network that can positively influence change in our communities.

As such, the ACT Chapter will meet on a monthly-bimonthly basis in different locations across the Territory to ensure accessibility and meetings, agendas, minutes and events will be published through the ACNP website. I look forward to the exciting times ahead with a wonderful group of dynamic professionals.

Sincerely,
Kate Maher, NP
